The Creative Mind Never Rests
This is a saying I have about myself. Ideas can come from anywhere. And boy do I get inspired all the time. I can be tire tracks on the road or a color from a leaf on the ground. All these ideas are in my head, and each is tumbling around trying to get out. Some may sink to the bottom for a while and wait their turn to come back to the surface. But there is a lot in there!
January 2024
It is the start of the new year, and I am in serious creating mode. I seem to be more creative in the winter and I think it's because it is not gardening season! I worked on a mini heart series of 3 and already sold 1! The other 2 I am hoping will be accepted into a juried show. I am continuing my exploration of texture and upcycled materials and am working on 5 new pieces...coming soon. I have also decided to rework some old paintings that just didn't work. I am going to dive in and see what happens.
